Mulhouse, France – November 11, 2023
The 18th edition of Fire Resistance in Plastics took place on 20-22 November 2023 at The Westin Grand Berlin, in Berlin, Germany. This event is well known in the industry as a leading global event for the latest developments in flame retardants and flame-retardant plastics. It provides a unique forum to liaise with industry peers and update your expertise. The event is aimed at polymer and raw material suppliers, research institutes, associations and users of fire retardant plastics.
Mrs. Marie-Raphaël MORVILLER, our Technical Director was at the conference and presented our range of flame retardants products.
“Market trends such as the transition to electrical vehicles and increased fire safety requirement for home appliances, calls for the need of non-halogenated flame retardants with very high efficiency. Our ADK STAB FP-2000 series are halogen-free flame retardants based on intumescent systems. When added to PP, they provide high flame retardancy by delaying and retarding fire propagation but with low smoke emission and low smoke toxicity. These claims have been documented and verified by UL- Solutions and ADK STAB FP-2000 series is the only UL Verified Mark as functional material. ADK STAB FP-2000 series offer Glass Fiber reinforced PP as a fire safe alternative to metal in EV batteries and a high performing solution for home appliances. Recent studies have demonstrated that ADK STAB FP-2000 series can be upcycled with Post Consumer recycled PP with flame retardant properties similar to virgin PP.”
