Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers: Making the Right Choice for Selected Applications

Proper and adapted light stabilization is key for plastic applications to be used in a wide spread series of application throughout various end applications, such as construction and automotive. However the light stability requirement  being taken as a “given” these day and more attention is given to the secondary properties of light stabilizers and their interaction with other functional additives present in the formulation.

The paper will give examples for selected applications for the use of hindered amine light stabilizer in various application scenarios and highlight the importance of properly selecting a light stabilization package adapted to the end application.
