ADEKA Polymer Additives Europe appoints Olivier Keiser as Senior General Manager

Mulhouse, France – September 7, 2022 – ADEKA Polymer Additives Europe, a leading global major chemicals and food company, today announced that Dr. Olivier Keiser joined ADEKA Polymer Additives Europe as Senior General Manager, reporting directly to the President Dr. Tsuyoshi Urushihara.

Olivier Keiser will be responsible for consolidating as well as accelerating ADEKA’s position in Europe. "I am delighted to take on the role of Senior General Manager, building on Urushihara san’s work in successfully bringing teams closer together to better serve our customers, especially following two difficult years with many disruptions linked to COVID 19 effects on the global economy and supply chains. I am proud to now be leading the team, working with them to achieve our common goal of helping our customers overcome the many challenges they face today and further grow their businesses" said Olivier. "Learning the challenges they face is extremely important, and I look forward to focusing on the continual improvement of our operations."

Prior to ADEKA, Olivier gained more than 25 years of well-rounded experience working across multiple geographies and in multinational specialty chemical companies such as The Dow Chemical Company, Von Roll, Great Lakes Chemical Corporation, Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI), Almatis and SONGWON Industrial Group. During this period, he held leading roles in business management, change management (restructuring & post-merger integration), corporate development, marketing & sales, business development, technical service, sustainability, procurement, and international supply.

Olivier received a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETHZ) in 1995 and an Executive Master of Business Administration in 2003 from the Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland.
